Mokon adds integrated PLCs to TCUs

The controls can connnect Hydrotherm and Duratherm lines to plant automation systems.

Hydrotherm, Duratherm Mokon’s water temperature control units come in multiple configurations and can be customized. The Hydrotherm line is engineered for accuracy, reliability and high output, and is built with non-ferrous and stainless steel piping and connections. The Duratherm units come in single-zone and dual-zone versions, as well as HTP and Max versions that can handle higher temperatures and demanding applications.

What’s new? Integrated PLC control systems, which will be offered as a standard feature across both the Hydrotherm and Duratherm lines. The PLCs communicate seamlessly with plant-wide automation systems, supporting major control architectures and industry-standard communication protocols to simplify implementation and future expansion. The M-Control Essential, available on Hydrotherm and some Duratherm models, offers simple, push-button control, a user-friendly interface, and a 24V control panel with an optional 7-inch HMI. M-Control Advanced, for Duratherm and custom units, adds advanced PLC functionality, expanded control capabilities, improved diagnostics, and a standard 7-inch or optional 10- or 12-inch HMI.

Benefits Improved control, more intuitive operating experience and connectivity.
