Tumble blenders from Charles Ross & Son gain light-curtain options

Tumble blenders Ross' tumble blenders provide gentle agitation for mixing powders and pellets. All models in the series have brake motors; options included heating/cooling jackets and explosion-proof motors. Three models are pictured, with capacities of 1, 5 and 7.5 cubic feet.

What's new? The availability of optional protective light curtains for use with the blenders.

Benefits Low shear intensity and dispersion of components used in very small percentages within a batch. With the new light curtains, the blenders also are safer to operate. If a human comes too close to the blender, the new light curtains automatically shut off the machine.
