The CDA-200 is customized for shear-sensitive applications with low to medium viscosity.

CDA-200 This Ross mixer is customized for shear-sensitive applications with low to medium viscosity  such as mixing plastisols or certain epoxies. It has a a thermoprobe for temperature reading, a two-wing anchor agitator and two medium-speed agitators, each of which has five rows of three-blade pitched turbines. Its 4-gallon charging hopper introduces ingredients. The mixer’s maximum working capacity is 200 gallons, and its holding capacity is 250 gallons.

What’s new? The blades on the agitators, which Ross said are not a standard feature on its CDA series.

Benefits Heavy-duty design. Ross constructs its multi-shaft mixers with precision bearings that have large spans, reducing agitator shaft deflection and vibration while increasing the machines’ longevity. Separating bearings and seals from the product zone protects against contamination. Each agitator is driven by its own explosion-proof inverter-duty motor. The CDA-200 can handle vacuum operation, allowing it to produce air-free pastes, slurries, gels and suspensions.
