Dynisco improves viscosensor
e-RCU ViscoSensor Dynisco has released a new entry-level version of its ViscoSensor with simplified controls and a more compact rheometer control unit (RCU). By combining the rheological properties of a laboratory capillary rheometer with the capabilities of a melt flow indexer, it offers continuous, zero-waste monitoring of melt flow rate, apparent viscosity and other key test parameters. More than just a monitor, the ViscoSensor also provides control signals that allow the user to bring diverging processes back in line.
What's new? The e-RCU ViscoSensor, which is more cost-effective than the company's existing ViscoSensor.
Benefits Accuracy, safety and versatility. The e-RCU incorporates Vertex sensors, which improve the pressure measurement accuracy and lifespan of the rheologic sensing unit, while simultaneously improving safety by being mercury-free. The 7-inch touch screen HMI provides high-end graphics and enough processing power to measure melt flow ratio, relative viscosity, intrinsic viscosity and melt viscosity with full-scale accuracy of plus or minus 2 percent.
