Intensifier bar improves blender's performance

The VCB-50 V-cone tumble blender from Ross is suited for mixing powders, high-density metal powders, granules, pellets and other free-flowing solids.

VCB-50 V-cone This Ross tumble blender is well-suited for mixing powders, high-density metal powders, granules, pellets and other free-flowing solids with bulk densities of up to 150 pounds per cubic foot. It has a working capacity of 50 cubic feet and is designed for atmospheric operation, with a 30-horsepower motor that can rotate at about 12 rpm. 

What’s new? The intensifier bar, which now incorporates 19-inch chopper blades that operate at 475 rpm to reduce the size of agglomerates, as well as fan-style nozzles to make liquid additions.  

Benefits Low-impact, highly accurate and repeatable mixing of free-flowing solids. It has a 7-inch color touch-screen display, allowing users to operate individual start/stop and speed controls, jog function, cycle timer and a recipe system. Its product-wetted parts have a mirror finish for easy cleaning.
