Charles Ross’s Model DCB double-cone tumble blender is especially suited for mixing in very minor components, such as additives or colorants.

DCB Charles Ross’s Model DCB double-cone tumble blender can be used to mix, dry and heat various plastic materials that are in powder, pellet or granule form. The vacuum-rated blender is especially suited for mixing in very minor components, such as additives or colorants. Features include gas-purging capability, a pneumatically operated discharge valve, an explosion-proof brake motor and PLC controls.

What’s new? The DCB model, which is available in a range of sizes for laboratory, pilot and production applications. Shown is the jacketed Model DCB-75, which has a 75-cubic-foot capacity and is rated for vacuum up to 29.5 inches of mercury.

Benefits A highly efficient and repeatable process. The DCB evenly distributes minor and micro ingredients throughout the batch more gently than is typical in V-shaped blenders, protecting fragile and sensitive ingredients from damage.
