Vee Cone Blender With every rotation, Munson Machinery’s blenders separate and then recombine the dry bulk solids within to provide a thorough, uniform combination of the solids. The blenders’ smooth internal surfaces have no baffles, shafts or bearings to disrupt the full discharge of its contents. They are constructed of 316 stainless steel and can meet food, dairy, pharmaceutical and industrial standards.
What’s new? Model VB-1-S316, which has a 28-liter capacity and is suitable for lab testing, pilot plants or low-volume blending of dry powders and granular materials.
Benefits Thorough blending with little or no product degradation, typically within 15 to 30 minutes. The new model’s 1-horsepower motor rotates it at up to 30 rpm to mix the solids with an action that is gentler and consumes less energy than machines that force blades, paddles or plows through stationary material. When operating at fill volumes from 25 percent to 100 percent of rated capacity, the blender can achieve homogeneity of dry materials. Operator safety is ensured by a safety-interlocked PC housing.
