MD series These compressed-air micro dryer/hoppers from Dri-Air are constructed with stainless steel and Pyrex glass, ideal for clean rooms. The dryers operate on 120-volt or 230-volt single-phase power and a 100 psi clean compressed air supply. A membrane and compressed air prefilter ensure low dew points of minus-101 degrees Fahrenheit. A 4-inch color touch-screen control includes temperature and alarm settings, a resin library and a seven-day timer for automatic starts and stops. A compressed air loader for the drying hopper is available. Dri-Air launched the line with the MD-1, which has a capacity of up to 3 pounds, at NPE2024.
What’s new? Two additional models in the series: the MD-2 with a 5-pound hopper capacity and the MD-3 with a 15-pound capacity.
Benefits Precise drying for low-throughput and high-cost resins.
