DSR28 and DDSR20 feeders Brabender Technologie’s DDSR20 twin-screw feeder and DSR28 loss-in-weight feeder are available with several different motor options, and customers can choose among three digital and two analog load cells. The feeders also have components that feature tool-free operation for easy cleaning.
What’s new? Major design revisions. Updates include changes to gears, seals, motors, load cells and cable routing. Both updated feeders premiered at K 2019.
Benefits Greater feed accuracy. The revised gearbox now sits directly on the load cell, weighs less and is quieter than earlier versions. Connections between main components have replaced nuts and bolts with a clamping lug system, avoiding the problem of loose parts.
