Okuma launches high-pressure coolant system

It enhances productivity and provides optimal chip evacuation and improved surface finishes.

Okuma High-pressure Coolant System Also known as the OHP, this system provides variable‑flow, high‑pressure coolant delivery to machining equipment from Okuma, which makes CNC machine tools, controls, automation and manufacturing systems. The system’s built‑in feed and supply pump supports long, uninterrupted machining cycles, and it has an alarm that provides notification when the filter is dirty. Compatible with water‑based coolants and suitable oils, the OHP works with a wide range of tooling sizes, multi-axis lathes, multi-function machines and machining centers.

What’s new? The OHP, announced in April.

Benefits Optimal chip evacuation, improved surface finishes, enhanced productivity and flexibility. The OHP has been designed to be robust and compact.
