Okuma America announces new partner program

CNC machine tools, controls and automation systems manufacturer Okuma America Corp. has introduced a next-generation partner program for technologies to augment Okuma products.  

The new Partners in Technology program is an update to the companys former Partners in THINC Program, and is structured to offer more benefits to Okuma’s users and its member partners. 

Members provide machine tool peripherals, including automation, CAD / CAM software, coolant systems, metrology, workholding and more. Okuma selected the 40+ partner companies based on criteria including product quality, service capabilities and compatibility with Okuma machine tool technologies, with a focus on maximizing machine tool production, profitability and performance.  

Charlotte, N.C.-based Okuma has a dedicated facility in that city for Partners in Technology members where they can demonstrate their products on Okuma machine tools, meet with local customers, enjoy dedicated workspace, network with other partner companies and host events. The facility is open to visitors within the manufacturing environment.
