The Power Clamp Centric is capable of multiple configurations and is designed for demanding tasks.

Power Clamp Centric (PCC) vise with clamping jaws Available in both pneumatic and hydraulic versions, and capable of multiple configurations, including single- or multiple-fixture clamping applications, Roemheld’s PCC is designed for mold making and other demanding tasks. The vise’s double-acting cylinder enables both interior and exterior clamping, making it suitable for a wide range of workpieces and fixture setups. According to Roemheld, the vise is ideal for makers of molds for the aerospace and medical industries. It provides easy robot access, making it appropriate for shops moving toward automated or lights-out machining.

What’s new? The PCC, announced earlier this spring.

Benefits Precise clamping, repeatability, modularity and ease of use. The PCC is capable of centering precision within 5 microns. Its low-profile design allows secure holding of large or delicate mold inserts without distorting precision surfaces, and the vise can adapt to different mold sizes and shapes. Its compact body and jaw design enable full five-sided machining without repositioning.
