Athena introduces new hot-runner temperature controller line

The Bedros XL controllers can accommodate 36 to 120 zones.
June 10, 2024

Bedros These hot-runner temperature controllers in this Athena Controls line provide between eight and 32 zones of microprocessor-based proportional-integral-derivative (PID) temperature control. The controllers feature an easy-to-use touch screen and mold-storage recipe capabilities that simplify single- and multi-zone system setup.

What’s new? A new, expanded model line — the Bedros XL hot-runner temperature controllers, which accommodate 36 to 120 zones of microprocessor-based temperature control. The controllers use the Windows 10.0 IOT operating system, built to support Industry 4.0, and a 12-inch or 15-inch touch display with Athena Controls’ Modbus HR software. Ethernet and Modbus communications are standard, and the software provides real-time data transmission. More enhancements are planned for release later this year.

Benefits Ease of use, and expanded range of control.
