E-mac 500 With a clamping force of about 562 tons, the e-mac 500 is now the largest model in Engel’s series of compact all-electric injection molding machines. It features the new High clamping drive and an encapsulated toggle lever mechanism for fast and stable cycle times. Engel’s digital assistance system, iQ motion control, automatically adjusts the acceleration of the moving platen according to the tool's weight. Expansion packages include solutions for thin-wall packaging and clean-room use.
What’s new? The e-mac 500, introduced in October at Fakuma 2024, where it molded 4-liter food containers in a cell with an Engel Viper 40 robot and in-mold labeling from Engel subsidiary TMA Automation, Gdynia, Poland.
