Koch-Technik upgrades the control unit on its Graviko line

All five gravimetric and dosing mixer models come with the company's MCGT control unit.

Koch-Technik’s Graviko line of gravimetric and dosing mixers has five models, and each now comes with the company's MCGT control unit.

Graviko Koch-Technik’s Graviko line of gravimetric and dosing mixers has five models with throughputs that range from 176 pounds per hour to 3,306 pounds per hour. Individual components — virgin resin, masterbatch and additives — are each dosed separately, their weights are registered and compared to the target, then they are emptied into the mixer and combined into a homogenous blend that feeds into the processing equipment.

What’s new? The MCGT control unit. This new unit gives Koch-Technik a uniform, modernized appearance across its product range.

It automatically calculates necessary process parameters to guarantee uninterrupted, consistent dosing. Its OPC-UA communication interface makes it compatible with other production equipment.
