New control unit graces Koch-Technik dryers
KKT mobile granulate dryer Koch-Technik’s KKT line of mobile dry-air dryers can be easily transported between processing machines to dry hygroscopic polymers where needed. The KKT dryers are available in three models, with air throughputs ranging from 1,942 cubic feet per hour to 3,531 cubic feet per hour. The dryers offer three programs to optimize drying: The basic program works for most day-to-day needs; the high-speed program is for applications demanding high throughputs; and the ECO energy-saving program can cut energy usage up to 40 percent.
What’s new? A new control unit with a larger color display.
Benefits Ease of use. The touch screen’s menus make operation of the control unit simple and offer intuitive navigation. The control unit uses the OPC-UA communication standard to gain Industry 4.0 compatibility, allowing the dryers to be easily integrated with Koch’s central conveying system.
