Koch-Technik expands resin dryer series
EKO-N dryer This range of dry-air resin dryers from Koch-Technik brings together technologies from the company’s EKO and CKT dryers, providing airflow volumes ranging from 3,885 cubic feet per hour to 70,629 cubic feet per hour. All EKO-N models come with the S7 control unit and a 10.4-inch touch-screen display, where users can adjust drying time, temperature and dwell time. They also come with a preloaded database of 28 materials, which is expandable to 212.
What’s new? More models. The EKO-N series has grown from eight to nine models, and the drying containers available for it have an expanded range of capacities, from about 1.4 cubic feet to 42 cubic feet.
Benefits Energy efficiency. The series’ optional Koch-Öko energy system control optimizes settings for dew point, eco-system control and frequency-controlled fans, making possible energy savings of up to 50 percent. The dryers have a modular design that is easy to scale up, and are Industry 4.0-compatible.
