Griffin Ultra Modix has added this extruder to its range of large-format 3D printers. Among the features of most Modix printers is the standard Griffin model extruder, which features a 0.6 mm nozzle.
What’s new? The Griffin Ultra extruder, which debuted on Modix’s Everest 3D printer, and is now available for all Modix printer models.
Benefits Much faster printing. The Griffin Ultra utilizes a 1.6 mm nozzle, increasing perimeter speed by 2.6 times for any given thickness. It offers an extrusion capacity of about 17.6 ounces per hour, making it possible to complete large prints hours or — in some cases — days quicker than before. Modix says the accumulation of time-saving enhancements enables the Griffin Ultra to print up to six times faster than conventional extruders.
