Stratasys establishes tooling center

June 16, 2025
Launched in collaboration with robotics provider Automation Intelligence, the facility will help manufacturers utilize additive manufacturing.

Stratasys, a maker of 3D printers, has launched the North American Stratasys Tooling Center (NASTC), a collaboration with Automation Intelligence LLC (AI), at AI’s site in Flint, Mich. The dedicated tooling hub is designed to help manufacturers validate and scale applications for additive manufacturing (AM) in production environments.

The NASTC will run Stratasys F3300 and F900 3D printers, providing hands-on access to engineering resources, and focus on tooling solutions such as jigs, fixtures, end-of-arm tooling, and North American Automotive Metric Standards (NAAMS) blocks. It will serve as a blueprint for similar tooling hubs worldwide.

Capabilities include:

  • Demonstrations of how AM works within a manufacturing ecosystem.
  • Additive tooling applications, including jigs, fixtures, end-of-arm tooling, and NAAMS components.
  • Evaluation of use cases with Automation Intelligence.
  • Support for customer tours, validation work and application-focused events.
  • A display of sample parts to spark new ideas and projects.

Stratasys is based in Rehovot, Israel.
