Photocentric 3D printer opens up material choices
LC Opus This 3D printer from Photocentric builds on the success of the company’s earlier LC Magna. It can be used for prototyping or small-scale production. It features a 14-inch 4K monochrome LCD screen, and rugged construction, including its platform print arm, which is built from a single billet of aerospace-grade aluminum.
What’s new? Freedom of material choice. As an open-source printer, users who have preferred resins or an existing contract can adopt the LC Opus with minimal disruption.
Benefits Rugged construction, speed and ease of use. It is Photocentric’s fastest printer to date, with print speeds up to 18mm in height per hour. The LC Opus comes factory-calibrated and is easily operated both by beginners and experienced users. It has interchangeable platforms that can be switched without the need to recalibrate.
