3-D printer boasts dual extruder heads

Pro 3 FELIXprinters’ newest 3-D printer in its Pro line of fused-filament-fabrication machines has dual extruder heads and can print parts using two different open-source materials. Its touchscreen interface has an integrated print server, and prints can also be managed via web browser.

What’s new? The printer, which went on sale in the U.S. in January. Its optimized extruder heater body enables it to double its dual-head printing speed compared with earlier models. The company simplified its construction to make maintenance easier.
