BenchMike Pro NDC Technologies has launched a new generation of its benchtop off-line diameter and ovality gauge, which is designed for inspecting samples of pipe, tubing, wire and cable. It is available in two sizes: Model 2025 is for products with diameters up to 25mm and Model 2050 is for products with diameters up to 50mm. The device uses a collimated diode laser with an output of less than 1 megawatt to provide fast, accurate, noncontact measurement of inner and outer diameters.
What's new? Numerous upgrades and features, including Industry 4.0-readiness. Its Ethernet and USB connectivity simplifies integration of the gauge into centralized production networks, and more input/output connections provide greater flexibility in connecting BenchMike Pro to computers, data-gathering devices and USB printers that support the CUPS protocol. It features a larger, higher-resolution touch-screen display and now also can measure transparent objects.
Benefits Expanded connectivity, communications and control capabilities. The gauge delivers more-efficient data logging and sharing as well as improved production reporting, analysis and quality control. Additionally, the advanced laser diode technology offers double the lifetime of conventional diodes, for long service life.
