Endress+Hauser has updated its entire line of flow meters with new transmitters.

Proline 300/500 Endress+Hauser has updated its entire line of flow meters with new transmitters. Within the line, the company's Promass Coriolis meters can be used in plastics plants to facilitate accurate transfer of materials such as colorants and additives. They are especially useful to processors who work with volatile organic compounds or materials that are subject to regulatory control. The Proline 300 is the more compact of the two and can be equipped with or without display or remote display; a remote version, the Proline 500, can be installed up to about 1,000 feet from the sensor.

What's new? Upgrades to the flow meters, which hit the market in January. They feature improved measurement accuracy and repeatability and enhanced safety ratings. In addition, the devices are now more compact.

Benefits Optimum batch accuracy by either weight or volume, even under difficult handling conditions. Also, with the new transmitters, flow meter information can be easily accessed via Ethernet cable; a wireless LAN connection is also an option. An upgraded sensor designed to minimize pressure loss is also available as an option.
