Break scraper disc improves material flow

The Generation III disc, for the Duo line of filters, is lighter, more efficient and manages higher levels of contamination.

Duo Designed for filtering both post-industrial materials and highly contaminated waste, such as post-consumer batches, the automatic self-cleaning double-screen filtering systems in this Break Machinery series can achieve very low filtration, down to 60 microns. They provide constant pressure output and can be installed on both regeneration and extrusion lines. The various models have a maximum pressure of about 5,076 pounds per square inch (psi).

What’s new? Break Machinery’s Generation III Scraper Disc, available for the Duo series of self-cleaning filters. It features a new channel geometry that allows material to flow more easily through the scraper disc. This improves fluid dynamics, supports a smoother filtration process and helps the filter better manage higher levels of contamination.

Benefits More-efficient filtration and reduced energy requirements. Also, because the new design weighs less, it’s easier to move, maintain and replace. The Duo systems provide high process stability and maximum productivity while ensuring product quality and the removal of waste in a rapid and controlled manner.
