Movacolor introduces company's first blenders

The blenders come in 17 new configurations and are customizable; hybrid models incorporate a doser.

Movacolor has moved into the blending market with its Go Beyond Blending series. Its MHBS 34 is one of its hybrid versions, combining blending and dosing.

The hybrid versions use gravimetric feeders and special inserts to feed materials inline after the batch blender’s mixing chamber in the middle of the batch, avoiding the possibility of de-mixing..In the U.S., sales director John Farney represents the Sneek, Netherland-based company.

According to Movacolor, the blenders have a compact and sturdy design, with no mechanical and/or moving parts in the hoppers. Standard versions of the blenders carry lead times of only seven weeks.
