MBS blenders These Movacolor gravimetric batch blenders are compact and robustly built units that can handle a wide variety of materials with precision. They are available in 19 standard configurations and are suitable for use in injection molding, blow molding and extrusion. They have stainless-steel material hoppers with sight glasses for checking material level.
What’s new? Addition into the MBS blend range of the 20-recycling series, which is specifically adapted for use by plastics processors working with recycled material. These blenders can process hard-to-handle and difficult-flowing materials such as post-consumer recycled content, flakes and certain regrinds.
Benefits Optimal material flow of challenging materials. The material hoppers have oscillators that shake to improve flow, but the upper body is isolated to dampen vibration so dosing accuracy is not negatively affected. The blender shares the intuitive 8-inch color portable touch-screen controller of the standard Movacolor 20 series, as well as its sturdy design and lack of mechanical parts and cables in the material hoppers. This allows easy access for cleaning, material changes and other routine tasks. The MBS Blender 20-recycling series can be upgraded to a MHBS Hybrid blending system, combining gravimetric blending and dosing in an integrated system. This upgrade offers optimal control over critical or expensive additives.
