BuildIT Metrology Faro’s 3-D metrology software can use data from any major brand’s portable measurement arm, laser tracker or optical 3-D imager to provide real-time CAD-to-part inspection and analysis. One application for the software is mold inspection — both during production and over a mold’s lifetime to check for wear, warpage and other deformities.
What’s new? Version 2020.5. It includes software upgrades such as a 3-D view that shows a comparison of feature properties to their actual measurements, and the ability to play user-defined processes at startup, or when opening a new file.
