S-series cylinders Appropriate for production of technical parts, electronic parts and consumer goods, these compact cylinders for hot-runner systems are especially suited for applications with small shot weights and multicavity molds. They facilitate extremely accurate molding of small automotive parts, such as air-conditioning components and interior switches.

What’s new? The cylinders, which come in two versions: basic and adjustable. The basic version requires a cutout height in the mold of 2.56 inches, and the adjustable version requires a cut-out height of 2.87 inches. The patent-pending devices are suitable for use with engineering resins.

Benefits Compactness, allowing for the use of a thinner mold plate. The cylinders’ reduced width allows for a minimum nozzle pitch of 1.46 inches. The adjustable version allows the pin position to be changed by as much as 1mm.
