Oerlikon HRSflow launches new hydraulic cylinder system
HRScool Evo Oerlikon HRSflow’s latest hydraulic cylinder system for hot-runner injection molding is especially suited for the production of high-quality interior and exterior automotive parts.
What’s new? The HRScool Evo system, which can be used at higher temperatures than its predecessor, the HRScool. The company has optimized the heat balance of the cylinder and reduced the flow of heat between the hot runner and the mold plate, eliminating the need for active liquid cooling of the actuation unit. Both the basic and damped version of the HRScool Evo system easily fit into the mold cutouts of the company’s A-, G-, M- and P-series hot-runner systems.
Benefits Sophisticated temperature management. The new system opens up the HRScool technology for temperature-critical applications. Its insulation ensures uniform temperature distribution along the entire hot-runner system. The optimized geometry of the contact elements between the manifold and the cylinder reduces the heat transfer from the manifold heaters to the oil of the actuator. Additionally, because the system doesn’t need connections for cooling circuits, it is simpler, less expensive and easier to maintain. It is simple to install, thanks to a special lock that allows the needles to remain in the nozzle during mounting and dismantling.
