HRSflow's new device is used to control the melt flow through the hot-runner nozzles in single- and multi-cavity molds.

Side-mounted cylinder HRSflow's new device is used to control the melt flow through the hot-runner nozzles in single- and multi-cavity molds. Designed for hydraulic and pneumatic systems, the valve-gate system uses the same type of lever and extension to move the pin as the company's FLEXflow hot-runner technology.

What's new? The placement. The cylinder is installed outside on the edge of the mold, far from the hot-runner system's manifold.

Benefits Because of its placement, the device doesn't need to be cooled. Maintenance is easy, convenient and safe because the cylinder can be repaired without disassembling the mold. Also, if the hot-runner system needs maintenance, it can be removed, leaving the cylinder or cylinders installed on the plate.
