Progressive Components' newest mold monitor wirelessly routes data from the tool to the cloud.

CVe Monitor With Progressive Components’ CVe Monitor line of products, users have long been able to track mold performance and securely collect, file and report mold data.

What’s new? The CVe Monitor RT, the newest version in the CVe line of mold monitors. It communicates via Bluetooth and works with ProFile, a web and mobile-based application (app). It wirelessly routes data directly from the tool to the cloud, where customers can review the information in the ProFile app.

Benefits Real-time tool tracking. With the CVe Monitor RT, users can view the tool’s cycle count and other data on the device, with Bluetooth access to information utilizing the ProFile app. With additional hardware, the device can send real-time data to the ProFile app in the cloud for global access. Each CVe Monitor device is manufactured with a QR code and unique serialization so it can be assigned to a specific tool with the ProFile System, and each also is water-resistant and has replaceable batteries and a maximum operating temperature of 190 degrees Fahrenheit. The CVe Monitor RT can be used on the outside of a tool, or not on a tool at all — a cable from a PLC or magnetic reed switch can allow it to route the data through the CVe to the Gateway without any actuation of the plunger, making it ideal for high-heat applications.
