Software monitors CNC data from multiple locations

Heidenhain’s PlantMonitor tracks real-time data from every production site operated by a company.

PlantMonitor Heidenhain’s StateMonitor software platform allows for remote real-time monitoring of manufacturing data from individual machine tools with CNC control systems from Heidenhain or third-party makers. Users can monitor the efficiency of machine usage, as well as more accurately gauge when tools require replacement.

What’s new? Heidenhain’s PlantMonitor software, which is an application that can be installed on a company’s Windows and/or Linux server system. It communicates with the StateMonitor platform at multiple locations.

Benefits Unified monitoring of machines across multiple locations. Users can manage real-time data reported by StateMonitor from machines at each of a company’s production sites. Users can also achieve long-term process optimization by running analyses of key performance indicators on historical data. The system can track production and perform mean time-between-failure calculations; it also can be used to set reference values for productivity.
