RTX Roundtracer Extreme With Mitutoyo’s RTX Roundtracer Extreme, users can measure roundness and other workpiece characteristics with a high degree of accuracy. It features internal mechanical designs that decrease friction and vibration, which provides high repeatability and reproducibility. The device can be used in a lab environment in many industries, including the manufacturing of molds and tooling.

What’s new? Enhanced measurement functions. As well as measuring roundness, the RTX Roundtracer Extreme can capture contour measurement, and with options can also provide roughness measurement and twist analysis — all in one system.

Benefits Productivity. Taking multiple measurements with a single platform saves setup time. The RTX Roundtracer Extreme offers improvements compared to conventional models in the accuracy of its automatic centering and leveling as well as best-in-class drive speeds of 100mm per second for each axis. Its new detector and detector holder enhance measurement flexibility; its controller is ergonomically designed, and its buttons and controls are well laid out.
