The MarForm MMQ 500 can be used by makers of injection molds and other tooling to measure metal components for form, position, roughness and contour.

MarForm MMQ 500 Mahr’s form tester can be used by makers of injection molds and other tooling to measure metal components for form, position, roughness and contour. It also is appropriate for finished plastic parts that require detailed form measurement. The tester is applicable for workpieces a few millimeters in size up to ones weighing 176 pounds. Its Z-axis vertical column allows movements up to 100mm per second.

What’s new? The MarForm MMQ 500, the latest model in the company’s benchtop form tester portfolio. It features a newly developed, automatic CNC centering and tilting table that allows faster alignment than comparable models.

Benefits Speed, precision and repeatability. Mahr optimized the machine’s design to minimize times for setup and part alignment. Its powerful, easy-to-use software makes it simple to automatically measure complex parts. Additionally, because the rotary table uses a high-precision mechanical bearing, the machine does not require an external air supply. The bearing also makes the MMQ 500 less susceptible to external forces such as vibration.
