Meusburger and its customer, Schmidt WFT, have developed the Meusburger NX tool, a CAD tool created for mold designers that can be downloaded for free from the Meusburger website. This CAD library is adapted to the Siemens NX CAD system, and it contains data for tolerances, surface roughness and material types. The tool also simplifies design changes — for example, when different-sized installation parts are selected, the software automatically adjusts the installation spaces, and the parts list is automatically updated.
