CAMWorks 2023 HCL Technologies’ CAMWorks software can be used by mold makers to automate CNC machining and wire electrical discharge machining, and make it more efficient. CAMWorks is available through a large network of resellers, as well as from USA Geometric Americas, an HCL company.

What’s new? CAMWorks 2023, which comes with a broad portfolio of new capabilities. They include additional probing cycles and tool selection logic based on flute length and feature depth, as well as the ability to use the Euler Angles Method for five-axis rotary milling (3+2).

Benefits More automation options. The software now can generate high-performance toolpaths for advanced material removal in three-axis milling. It also can define the shank type, whether straight, neck or tapered, for the non-cutting portion of a tool, including for corner round, dovetail and lollipop tools.
