BEX 15 Suhner’s new high-precision machining spindle performs milling and drilling at maximum spindle speeds of 23,000 rpm and can be used in axial and radial orientations. It can be integrated into an automated machining line for applications such as producing multiple molds that feature identical holes. The BEX 15 has three different motor options: 0.55 kilowatt (kW), 0.75 kW and 1.5 kW. An adapter flange permits the installation of different spindle heads and angle heads. Optional features include a direct-drive servomotor, a frequency converter and toolholder systems.
