Z2302 Hasco’s new positive-locking cylinder is used to operate valves, core pullers, mold slides and similar components in compression and injection molds. With high-temperature gaskets, it has a maximum operating temperature of 356 degrees Fahrenheit and is available in several sizes.

What’s new? Proximity switches that sense the position of the device’s piston rod, which connects directly to the core puller or mold slide. The proximity switches allow the cylinder to lock mechanically in the forward stroke; the piston rod will not move backward until the machine actuates it by hydraulic pressure.

Benefits Secure locking of the piston rod. The device eliminates the need for a separate locking device on the mold and is easy to mount.
