KMP 3000P This new Kuka autonomous mobile robot (AMR) has cameras and scanners that provide a 360-degree view, allowing the AMR to recognize obstacles and drive around them effortlessly. This also improves safety and eliminates the need for in-floor guide systems. Equipped with an inductive charging system, the KMP 3000P charges wirelessly both centrally in a station and/or at various locations within the area through inductive charging pads attached to the plant floor.
What’s new? The KMP 3000P, which Kuka showed off in March at Promat in Chicago. At the show, it transported heavy rolls to a robot for handling and placement.
Benefits Increased efficiency, flexibility and productivity. For getting around even in tight environments, the KMP 3000P has an omnidirectional drive.
