It allows users to safely discharge from multiple drums or boxes simultaneously, or to individually empty larger gaylords, totes or bins.

Open-chute dumper This high-volume open-chute dumper from Flexicon is for use with non-dusty, free-flowing and/or agglomerated bulk materials. It employs a hydraulically tipped housing to allow users to discharge from multiple drums or boxes simultaneously, or to individually empty larger gaylords, totes or bins. It can accommodate containers from 37 to 44 inches in height, with an individual or combined footprint of up to 6 feet by 8 feet. It can handle simultaneous dumping of four 55-gallon drums, or four boxes, each having a footprint from 36 inches to 48 inches.

What’s new? The open-chute dumper.

Benefits Safe discharge of heavy mixed payloads. Pallets weighing as much as 5,000 pounds can be loaded by forklift into the unit and secured. Custom guard panels include a light curtain to ensure operator safety. Twin hydraulic cylinders pivot the assembly to angles of 45 or 60 degrees beyond horizontal, causing material to slide through a smooth, three-sided chute into receiving vessels. The dumper is available in heavy-duty, all-stainless steel construction to meet sanitary standards, or in carbon steel with durable industrial coatings and stainless steel material-contact surfaces.
