GLX-1 Available in three versions, with one to three laser banks, each with a maximum of 125 watts of power, Branson’s new benchtop laser welding system can join small, complex, delicate plastic components. Depending on the version, the units deliver 400 newtons, 600 newtons or 1,800 newtons of clamping force over maximum stroke lengths of either 75mm or 152mm. They come with a 12-inch touch-screen HMI mounted on a swiveling pendant arm.
