LS Mtron Injection Molding Machines heralded several new facilities in the U.S., including a new headquarters in Duluth, Ga. It also touted the opening of its new Brownsville, Texas, facility with a large-tonnage mold testing and tech center, and a San Diego location that will serve as a parts and service center. The new 16,000-square-foot facility in Duluth has more office and warehouse space, as well as a larger demonstration area, replaces its previous headquarters in Peachtree Corners, Ga.
“We are growing rapidly in North America, and LS Mtron is investing heavily to support that growth,” said Peter Gardner, business director at LS Mtron Injection Molding Machines USA. He said the company shipped 284 molding machines to North America in 2021, and is seeing demand rise, especially for its large-tonnage models.
The U.S.-based company, which sells the machines made by its South Korean parent company in North America, also has a Midwest Tech Center in Wood Dale, Ill., and a sales and service center in Queretaro, Mexico.
