LS Mtron expands sales and service team

Two new regional sales managers will cover Midwest and Southeast U.S.; five service personnel will support customers nationwide.

LS Mtron Injection Molding Machine USA announced the recent hires of two new regional sales managers and five new service personnel to boost the company’s customer support network and support its rapid growth.

The company has hired two seasoned plastics industry sales professionals who each have more than 10 years of experience to its team of regional sales managers: Chris Unseth, who will cover the Midwest region, and Trevor Andersen, who will cover the Southeast.

Unseth has won awards as a top sales producer, and most recently worked as a sales manager for leading injection molding machine (IMM) manufacturers. He is based in the Chicago area. Andersen has been a top sales producer for both injection molders and IMM suppliers. Based in the Atlanta area, he is fluent in Korean and English, which will enhance communication with the LS Mtron corporate headquarters team.

LS Mtron’s five new service personnel will support customers nationwide. Rodrick Banks has several years of experience working with leading plastic parts manufacturers including Thomson, Orbis, Nibco and others. He is both Paulson- and RJG-certified and has worked with many brands of IMMs and auxiliary equipment. He has joined as a service technician, based out of the company’s Duluth, Ga., headquarters.

Pilar Moa joins as a service technician, and has more than 15 years of field service experience working with leading IMM suppliers. He will work out of LS Mtron’s Chicago-area technical center.

Chris Froman comes to LS from Advantage Plastic Products, where he worked for the past 17 years, most recently as lead foreman. He will work for Northeast customers as a service technician based in New Hampshire.

Meanwhile, two engineers from LS Mtron’s headquarters in Korea have joined the team at the Chicago Tech Center. Sung Chul Yoo is manager — solution development team, and Samuel Chung is manager — controller development team.
