TV1000H Shibaura Machine Co. Ltd.’s latest robot is a six-axis vertically articulated arm with cleanroom and ingress-protection (IP67) options. It has a maximum payload of 22 pounds and is suited for machine loading and unloading tasks, as well as assembly operations in clean environments. All axes are driven by an AC servo motor. The robot has a standard cycle time of 0.9 second, a reach of 3.3 feet and weighs 103.6 pounds. A teach pendant controller is optional. In the U.S., Shibaura Machine, formerly Toshiba Machine, is represented by TM Robotics.
