Wittmann Battenfeld names Weingraber director and CEO

Wittmann Battenfeld GmbH, Kottingbrunn, Austria, has named Rainer Weingraber as the replacement for Georg Tinschert, the company’s longtime managing director and CEO, who has retired. Weingraber is an industrial engineer with management experience at DaimlerChrysler, Siemens, Magna and the Haas Group. Wittmann Battenfeld, with U.S. headquarters in Torrington, Conn., manufactures injection molding machines, robots and other auxiliary equipment.
