Names to Know: Wittmann Battenfeld promotes Glen Guthrie

Guthrie will become national service manager, replacing the retiring Terry Roddick.

Wittmann Battenfeld, a maker of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, has promoted a longtime employee to the role of national service manager, to succeed Terry Roddick, who is retiring.

Glen Guthrie, who has worked in service and manufacturing positions for the company in Australia, Europe and the U.S. since the early 2000s, will relocate to the Torrington, Conn., area, where the company’s U.S. operations are based.

In other news, Kamil Deminski has joined the company’s material-handling and auxiliaries field service team after earning a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut.
