Radar-based sensors measure large pipes

Inoex's new Warp CP has eight sensors to measure the dimensions and contours of pipes with diameters of 11.8 inches and bigger.

Warp Inoex’s Warp family of products uses radar technology to provide precise, contactless measurement of pipe diameter and wall thickness as the products are being extruded.

What’s new? Warp CP, an in-line instrument for measuring the outer and inner diameters and wall thicknesses of large corrugated pipes with diameters starting at about 11.8 inches. Using eight radar-based wall-thickness sensors, it can also measure the bells, crests, liners and valleys of pipes.

Benefits Continuous, automated recording of wall-thickness measurements that correspond to the various structures within corrugated pipes.
