The Citex Group has named Adam M. Grier as president of its IDoo USA division, which provides industrial intelligence solutions.

Grier had been president of Inoex, another Citex company that focuses on measurement and process optimization technologies for plastics extrusion, for the past eight years. He will join the board of Inoex as he assumes his new position at IDoo.

IDoo was established in 2024 to combine Citex’s extrusion expertise with cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, machine learning and analytics. It provides enterprise-wide visibility across machines, production lines, and facilities to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), reduce scrap, optimize material utilization, identify root causes more quickly, and accelerate digital transformation without replacing existing manufacturing assets.

Peter Zut will succeed Grier at Inoex. He has more than 40 years of experience in plastics and extrusion, and was most recently VP of extrusion sales and service at KraussMaffei Corp.

The Citex Group, headquartered in Melle, Germany, also owns Pixargus, which makes inspection systems for extrusion.
