Eidt joins Davis-Standard as CIO
Davis-Standard has appointed Christian Eidt as the company’s CIO.
He comes to his new role with 25 years of experience in media and advertising, including with CBS Corp. He most recently served as senior VP of strategic planning and business transformation with FactSet Research Systems.
His responsibilities will include IT strategy, corporate systems, data and analytics, and cyber security as the company transitions toward an increasingly digital and data-enabled industrial environment.
“Chris brings a high level of strategic IT leadership and digital transformation expertise to our team,” CEO Giovanni Spitale said. “We look forward to him directing this new area of focus as we take advantage of systems and technology platforms as powerful business enablers.”
Davis-Standard, which designs and manufactures extruders, is headquartered in Pawcatuck, Conn.
