AllRounDia DualVision (DV) Pixargus’ compact quality-control system is designed for plug-and-play performance and features LED lighting and optical sensors for the inline inspection of the surfaces and dimensions of tubes, pipes and hoses.
What’s new? Extension of the measuring field to about 2.8 inches, plus upgrades, including additional analysis tools, a new replay function, the ability to view live images and an encoder available as an option for high-precision measurements at varying process speeds. The AllRounDia DV now comes with an integrated section tracking feature that automatically generates a defect or batch report for every batch produced.
Benefits Enhanced defect recognition and more automated processes, which saves both time and costs. Since the system now can communicate with the cutter or the coiler, if the product is recoiled after the cutter or there is a coil change, the AllRounDia DV receives a corresponding signal. Defects identified during the continuous extrusion process are assigned to the current coil in process and the defect positions calculated relative to the head end of the coiled product. When the product is downcoiled for subsequent processing, it is possible to exactly locate the defects and remove the defective material from the production process.
